House in Prosilio - Mani, Greece (2003)

This project sits in the landscape within an olive grove on a relatively steep slope which overlooks the town of Kardamyli and the sea beyond.

The design is based around a central courtyard with a cloistered walkway joining the two wings of the house. The main wing includes the master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining and living room and the second wing contains two guest bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The courtyard is entered from a higher level via a small series of stone steps and is orientated towards the view of Kardamyli.

Many antique items (including 2 wooden doors and a stone fireplace) have been integrated into the final design. Due for completion March 2005.
