architects are a group of new multinational architects based in central
Athens-Greece who have established various national and international collaborations
with artists and sculptors. This cooperation leads to original, high quality
design solutions that make the most of each project's specific conditions
and brief. The office specialises in the restoration and design of private
houses throughout Greece but in particular in Mani, a district in Southern
Greece. The area has a very specific and traditional architectural style,
which requires a very well considered design approach to tie together the
traditional and the modern. The modern interventions rely greatly on collaborations
with highly skilled artists and craftsmen who can work with the local materials
while integrating and complementing them with modern materials and forms.
